Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has released a recruitment notification for year 2009-2010. It is for the post of TECHNICIAN (SURVEY) at Visakhapatnam. Applications are now invited from qualified candidates as per the list of qualifications provided in the recruitment notification published on the official website of the Vizag Steel.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications: SSC / Matric with 60% marks in ITI in Surveyor trade with NCVT certificate or 60% marks in Diploma in Civil Engineering conducted by State Board of Technical Education & Training.

Experience: Three (3) years post-qualification experience in handling Theodelites / Leveling instruments, Preparation of drawings / sketches / data related to coordinate fixing levels, structural verticality, etc. in Industrial / Commercial establishment as on closing date of application.

SELECTION PROCESS:

Selection will be through written test followed by job test and/or interview to be held at Visakhapatnam.
